The big garden is in!....well, mostly...

Here's what we've got so far:

So far there are about 15# of potatoes, 45-50 Homestead Tomato plants, 30 Bell Peppers, 1 trellis of bean seeds (will plant the second trellis next week, and alternate plantings each week for a continual supply), 18 canteloupe plants, the Asparagus is a permenant resident, and the zucchini is ready to transplant...will get it done today.

They say that breaking up is hard to do.....what an UNDERSTATEMENT when talking about baby goats!  The big bucklings got moved to the buck pen and haven't stopped crying since.  Now that they are 3 months old they are old enough to breed so it was time to move out of the kid pen.

Of course Ellie Mae gets to stay in the kid pen as long as she doesn't bully the babies...

Speaking of babies, here is A1 next to the week old bucklings.  A1 turned a month old on the 17th, this sure shows how fast they grow!

Speaking of big.....check out the belly on Legacy!  She's our last one due...and she's not due until mid-June!  She had triplets last year....I'm thinking quads this year!

And the turkeys are growing like weeds.  They are over 4# each now....the first ones will be ready for the freezer by the end of May.
