After the extroadinarily wet winter and spring we've had; the drought has been called done. We've had 3 inches of rain last night alone and it's still coming down. Our driveway and front yard look like ponds. The goats are convinced that the end of the world is at hand.
This morning's rain is a cold rain....and being that Lace doesn't have an extra ounce of fat on her to help her stay warm, today she is sporting a lovely barn coat.
I put one on Faith as well...but since it made her look like a marshmello in a tight bikini top I opted to give her her dignity.
Our ducks are doing a fine job at reproduction. We've got 8 healthy, albeit messy ducklings in the brooder. And one wet chick.
