Spring Maintenance

We've been pretty busy here since the weather has been nice.  Trying to get a few plants started for the garden, sort and cull chickens, and hatching & brooding chicks, poults, and ducklings. 
Another of our standard spring chores is clipping the goats down as part of their health maintenance for the new year.  Here is our maintenance checklist:
Clip Hair
Trim hooves
Fecal Exam
Check eyes, teeth, and ears
At the end of the day, they look and feel great....and I have a better grasp on the herd health knowing if they have a parasite load.

So Glory was, of course, the first of the 2012 kids to receive the royal treatment.  Before starting she looked like this:
And now, at 8 weeks old with her new haircut and day of beauty...
