Put On A Happy Face.....and More Kid Barn Improvements!

My Happy girl is finally getting her appetite back.  Her weight is slowly coming back on, she's re-gained 10 pounds!  She is still a far cry from healthy but at least she feels better and is chowing just like the old days...(the bald spot on her neck is where it was shaved for bloodwork)...
Bob is on vacation this week, so that means he's working like a dog here to get projects finished up while the weather is nice.  He finished the haystall wall yesterday in the kidding barn expansion....
To the left of this wall is the kid's "playroom" and warming area.  Their feeding bucket hangs in there, but they usually only come in to eat unless it's raining...(by the way that's not dirt in the bucket, those are herbs that we add to their milk to prevent coccidia)
Most of the time they can be found outside sunning or playing in their box....
And right now the kidding barn has something that hasn't been seen for weeks.......A clean empty stall!!
The other stall is occupied by Silly.  I think she's putting roots down in there.  She comes out during the day to hang with the goats....and at night goes into the goatie suite ringing for room service and making sounds on the moniter that make me rush out and check on her.  And give her a cookie.  She sure loves the room service.
Next on the to-do list for the kidding barn is to put a door at the end of this alley-way....

And put doors on the hay storage and kid playroom....and paint...and finish the trim on the outside...and...well, you know how that goes.

LOL! Boy do I ever know how that goes! It's never ending, but such a good feeling to sit back after a hard day's work and look at all the Lord has blessed us to accomplish! So glad Happy is recovering!
