Our big feast preparations are coming right along. Yesterday was day 2 of meal prep and I chose the best and biggest meat roo in our flock to be a table guest. He looks quite cozy now...
And next it was time to make the cranberry sauce. I make this early and can it so that we have some for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I have also pulled the 2 small turkeys from the freezer to begin defrosting. One will be deep-fried and the other one smoked.
Today is our day of rest. We're gonna need it!
