Remember our $95 quail egg? Well, we're up to about 20 now and late last night the first one hatched!
That's a quarter in there for size reference.
He/she sure is a tiny little thing.....hopefully it will have a lot of company soon as the next eggs hatch. I'm hoping to keep enough to keep us in quail meat and eggs year round.
It's hard to believe that in just 6 weeks these babies will be laying eggs!
